Menu Choices

Postby Grumpy » Tue Oct 22, 2013 1:57 pm

So, you have a lodge/recreational facility on leased Forest Service land. You also have a restaurant along with other amenities. You have printed up menus, I assume, and are doing a pretty good business. Next thing you know, here comes a FS rep. who looks over you choice of cuisine, and some time later, you are notified that your menu has items that the FS doesn't approve. You're reaction?

(This is not a theoretical situation. It happened at the lodge at Buck's Lake on the Plumas NF. I have asked for supporting documentation, and will share if Corky, my contact down there, is able to extract it.)

Seems there's way more to this story. I'll start another thread once I get it sorted out, but, suffice to say, it may not cast the Plumas NF in a very good light.
