CB Placement
I have a 4 door Rubion JK if you haven't seen it. We had bought a CB for my LJ when I had it but now want to get it put in my JK. Any suggestions on where it should go? My husbands is hanging from his rollbar but I am tired of hitting my head on it so I want it somewhere else? Thoughts anyone?

I put mine above the mirror. It was very easy, just ran the wires along the roll bar. I really like it up out of the way, but easy to access. I just screw the screws into the plastic. It holds really well. I can still get the freedom tops off easily.
I ran the antenna wire down the roll bar and under the padding to the rear of the jeep. I ran it into the rear door and out the vent to the spare tire.
For power I ran the wiring down the passenger side a-pillar, through the fire wall and then to the battery on the passenger side.

I have the same 'cheapo' mount. From what I remember it was expensive for what you get. I think I could have mounted the radio there free with out the mount.
An TJ, I have that same green bag, too. We must shop at the same places.
Okay, we're a little crazy to have a Duramax for a daily driver. But if we go off our meds, we might wind up in a Prius.

Yep. Could of mounted the CB in the same spot with the bracket that came with it!
The Mole bag is great and fits in that spot perfectly.
But, it didn't require any shopping. It was one of the many many things I have won in raffles at Jamboree and PUAM.
