RumbleGoat Racing, LLC Press Release

Postby OldGreen » Tue Feb 19, 2008 3:07 pm

This is almost finalized, and this is a teaser for this site only:

For Immediate Release:

RUMBLEGOAT RACING CHARGES INTO THE 2008 DESERT RACING SEASON

Richland, Washington, February 19, 2008. Along with Goodyear Tires, RumbleGoat Racing, LLC, announces its formation and entrance into the 2008 Best in the Desert racing series. Starting with the Terrible’s Town 250 at Primm, RumbleGoat will compete in class 7300 in its specially prepared 2006 Ford Ranger 4x4 Sport FX4 race truck.

The Ford Ranger race truck is equipped with Goodyear MT/R Tires, Racerunner Shocks, Total Power Racing batteries, Mastercraft seats, Autometer gauges and Parker Pumpers. The team consists of four principle owners that are lifelong off-road enthusiasts and competitors as well as professionals. Additionally, a volunteer team of up to 15 dedicated off-roaders expertly prepares and supports the truck.

“After years of desert pit support, short track racing, and off-road lifestyle, forming RumbleGoat Racing was a natural progression. The combination of the team members’ skill sets, careers and passions really sets us apart,â€

Since I am stupid, I won't apologize for asking a seemingly stupid question: who exactly is this press release going to, and where will it be seen?
Yep, I've wheeled one of those, too...

It will go on all of the desert racing sites, all of the nw 4x4 sites and on various news wires as soon as we get approval from Goodyear. Ford already gave the thumbs up. . oh, all of the vendors mentioned will get it as well.

Thanks. The press release was just approved by Goodyear so we'll get it out on the wires tomorrow.

One really, really interesting thing is how many people the RGR Racing Ranger attracts when it is out in public. I parked it (on the trailer) in the schucks parking lot to pick up some fluids on Thursday for about 10 minutes or less. In that time, 4 people pulled off of the road to come and stare at it and two car's of guys came up and started asking questions. . .they were ready to be fans.

It is really cool to be marketing a product that people actually care about for once. Anyone that is in the automotive business or wants to go after the 16-45 year old male demographic NEEDS to have the RGR Racing Ranger parked in front of their place of business during key promotions. . .moths to a flame. .. moths to a flame. If you start it up and blip the throttle a couple of times, people just roll over.

Right now, I just feel lucky to be involved. :D 8)
