I still have a LP 30 with a 4.56's, ARB, rolling on 35's. Fine so far but then its upgraded with alloy shafts and u-joints.

I too have a HP30... and I'd get rid of it along with 4.56 gears and a locker for cheap if I could ever find either a 3/4 HP D44 or a 78-79 HP60... if your still interested when I swap axles I can send them over your way.
I am interested. That could save me a bunch of headaches. When do you plan to swap axles? I had planned to go the route Lud went with, but I wouldn't say no to an HP30. It have a selectable locker?
