old columbia gorge hwy

last weekend the gf and i went to roseburg so i could register for classes and on our way back we took the old columbia gorge hwy. there are a tn of waterfalls and trails to hike but we kinda had a late start after dropping off a tranny in portland.

Awesome pics!! Not familiar with the area, so where does one pick up the old columbia gorge hiway and where does it cover? Would sooo love to hike in an area like that!!

I think that's the scenic byway off of I-84 near Multnomah falls???
Beautiful pictures.....Might have to do a looky loo on that loop next time through. Thank-you for posting them.

ya if you head towards portland from where we are there is an exit just past dodson (not sure the exit number) it will take you all the way from ther past multnomah falls and alot of other falls and hiking trails and end up in troutdale.

if you havent hiked to the top of the multnomah falls, its 1mile long to the top and will really tell you if you are in shape or not. you might think you are in shape but you will find out lol. plus it really messes with you cause you get to the top and then the trail goes back down a ways. but a very nice hike.
