Anyone do paint and body work?

Postby tobyw » Sun Aug 30, 2009 7:01 am

So, the $5000 estimate to paint the EB just isn't going to fly with the boss, but it's got to get done one way or another. Does anyone do paint and body work, or know anyone who does? Obviously price is a huge factor, but I'd like a notch above Maaco...
Yep, I've wheeled one of those, too...

I do.

I am not set up to do anything at my house yet, but hope to be by next Spring. I also have a friend that lives less than a mile from me who is finishing his paint shop behind his house right now.

What all needs to be done? Damage repair? Or just a complete repaint? Most your cost will be labor, so if you do it yourself, you will save alot.

A buddy of mine used to teach paint and body work at CBC. He has a booth at his house in pasco, I can get his number if you'd like.

But didn't take along time and a lot of trail work to make yours that pretty?
Okay, we're a little crazy to have a Duramax for a daily driver. But if we go off our meds, we might wind up in a Prius.
