Where is Wood Pecker?

Graham told me he couldn't get through Wood Pecker and had to take Milk Creek raod around. What is the trail number for Wood Pecker.

Lower woodpecker is on the left about a mile before the top of Milk Creek. It comes out just after the bridges right before the 5 fingers climb. Upper woodpecker is the bypass trail for the 5 fingers climb. I'll have to look at the map for the trail numbers. Lower is a pretty new trail by Naches standards and we built Upper in about 1983ish.

Lower + Upper is about 1 hour if you have no issues. Neither is full size friendly, but only because of tightness. Fun beginner trails in the summer. I did over half of Lower without touching the gas pedal one time. That is a stark contrast to Kaner Flats where I had to full on get it WOT in 2nd gear to make a couple of climbs.

Ok, Trail 686 off of Milk Creek Road.

OK, I almost ran that yesterday. The guy in the Sami was in a rush so we ran 685 to Milk Creek.

He is from the west side so that should explain a lot.

you sure as heck have it a shot. . .and stayed on the trail. Good on ya man. . .
