Truth:
I had to sign up to follow my company's tweets. . .so I thought I'd take the opportunity.
I will only be tweeting when I have something to say. I will also only follow people that tweet with substance.
As far as the race team goes. . .Twitter is EXCELLENT for live updates from the races. Awesome even. . .but IDGAF what you had for breakfast.

Yes. . .that is true. . .the whole shallow, self-indulgent thing (as I type on an internet forum)
On the other hand, once you can turn social networking into business and promotional networking. The trick is to be very selective in how you tweet and who you follow. If anyone tweets with how their date went or what they had for lunch. . .
