Any clue who has the best price for mounting and balaning tires in town?

Last I heard perfection but that was a while ago.

Big O quoted me something on the phone for 5 tires last year, but when I got there they took $20. I heard a rumor though that it is now a corporate store so I don't know.

Big O gets the nod from me. . .just look pitiful (no worries there) and they'll give you a deal. I think I did 4x tires for $65 bucks last time.

I paid about $25 for a pair of spoons from speedwaymotors.com last year and it was a good investment. Not only do I save money but my lard butt gets a bit of a workout.

You are a determined, brave man! How do you break the beads? Definitely a workout!

I just use the tire machines at work...

Last time I checked, Big O and the Firestone Tire Station (by the Mall) were the best prices around. That was a few years ago, though.

I use walmart for dismounting $5 each then mount them myself and balance with airsoft BB's

Meh, I've mounted and dismounted a LOT of tires. Once you figure it out it is simple and only takes a few minutes.


Breaking the bead is the easiest part, I have one of THESE with a small foot operated pneumatic valve. Works slick as greased snot.

If the rig is going to see any street time I toss in steel bb's. Airsoft bb's don't weigh enough so it takes a metric butt load. With bb's I use 1 shot glass full for under 35's and 2 for over 35". :

Agreed. Although I just use a Hi-lift jack to break the beads. It really is pretty easy once you get the hang of it.

Rimtyme on Clearwater did it for 45 out the door. By far the best deal I was able to find even walmart wouldn't touch them for less than 75 plus tax

45 for dismount, mount, and balance? That's a great deal!!

That's what I said plus they dismounted two sets of wheels
