There is a special place in hell for some one who steals a rig.

Okay, we're a little crazy to have a Duramax for a daily driver. But if we go off our meds, we might wind up in a Prius.

i can be reached at 907-942-7510

it used to have SCUMBY plates but is (was) running WA plates. the scumby plates were in the rear storage box, so if someone should see them ask some questions.

the rear axle may be a clue if they try to sell it. high pinion 44, spring over yj width with rear disc brakes, arb and 4.56's.

from what i know so far our insurance is going to cover the loss and they will pursue it with the shipping co. BIG question is how much will they cover? no positive word on the trailer either. really not oin the mood to rebuild another jeep :(

Do you have USAA? If so, they were great when my truck got stolen, but that was not a built trail rig, so I do not know how that will translate. Lets hope they find the Jeep soon, if not hopefully insurance will treat you right. It really does suck.

Had to pick up some parts from Four Wheel Parts in Tacoma today and gave them a heads up too incase they see anything. Hopefully it can be recovered in good condition and you don't have to fight with insurance companies.

thanx everyone. i know you all would feel the same pain.

parts that would more than likely be parted out to keep an eye out for.

dana 30 with
M.O.R.E. high steer with heim joints
telescoping track bar
warn 5 on 5.5 hub conversion
arb w/ 4.56's
spring over perches
sway bar disconnects
ss brake lines

rear dana 44
high pinion
arb/w/4.56's
disc brakes
5 on 5.5
ss brake lines
currie shafts

scrambler half cab

wierd looking red/black trailer can't tell if it's coming or going

can some one cross post those parts for me?

thanks again.

I went to the Stolen Vechicle section of the NW Wheelers site and noticed that several rigs were reported stolen from the Kent area since Jan, 2010.

Makes you wonder if there is a 4x4 chop shop in the area.

If there is, most likely the parts are no longer within a thousand miles of here.

Thieves should be drug through the street and shot... :fouet

When I was in Japan, Harley's were a hot item and stolen frequently. Most of them headed for Korea, or so I was told.

On of my fellow english-speaking motorcycle friends over there had his Harley stolen one night. He had it blocked inside a dead-end alley with his car, and chained to a post. The thieves cut the chain and drug the Harley OVER the car and it was never seen again...

*IMPORTANT NOTE*
95 jeep sahara editions had a unique sahara decal on the front fenders just above the "JEEP" logo.

Image

where the 95 sahara sticker says "SAHARA" mines says "SCUMBY"[/img]

unfortunately the bastards that stole it are probably running out to the garage to remove the decals. :(
