I've never checked, but usually use between 5 and 8 gal per day depending on how long a run and how hard I run it. It's actually not bad considering it's wieght and being v8 powered. Fuel injection helped alot.

I'd like to add:

Getting about 15 mpg on the Jeep combined city/highway. Not bad. Not as good as my 3/4 ton diesel, lol.

13 mpg almost every tank unless I move that shift lever thinging into 4-lo, then see Toby's post.

I get roughly 15 mpg on the highway. No idea what I get wheeling.

My Jeep is probably the same as Lee's or maybe a little worse due to the stock gearing. I seem to be gassing up the old pickup less than I did the Jeep though, now that I am driving it everyday. It's a 5.0 V8, and the one tank that works on it is smaller than the tank in the Jeep. Maybe if my cracked windshield in the Jeep breaks through, I'd get better airflow and less wind resistance with the top down.

Typical wheeling weekend in naches I'll use about a full tank in a 3 day weekend. Problem is that's all low range on the floor so I'm getting about 5 mpg.

Dave that truck has a 5.8 in it not a 5.0

12-13 mpg, 8 in 4low

Average about 10mpg. Still have stock gearing too though

wheelin it depends on what im doing,pushing deep heavy snow trying to out run OldGreen about 4mpg wheeling nachies when its dry 15mpg or so

17 +/- on road, and likely about 6 at Juniper.

i get about 6 highway with the setup thats in the willys.....

Bringing this one back from the dead, because I now have actual data to add

On the Darland run, driving there at ~70mph, wheeling all day, and driving back home ~70mph, the JK managed 14.48mpg hand calculated.

ummm. . .1 tank, 1 weekend. Less in the dunes or chasing Cim in the snow.
