Go Topless Day May 8th - anyone doing anything ?

Postby skijeeper » Wed May 05, 2010 3:54 pm

All
So there is this national Go Topless Day this weekend. It is supposed to be 70 and sunny, so I am hoping the top will come down on the JK. It's also the UnTapped Blues and Brews festival this weekend.

So is anyone going topless at the Blues and Brews or is that too risky?

Name a time and another helper and I'll be there. Soft top came off today. It was supposed to go back on Sunday for field trip duty on Monday and Tuesday, but a zipper jammed so the kids get to arrive at the dairy / bird sanctuary windblown. Hee hee hee...
Okay, we're a little crazy to have a Duramax for a daily driver. But if we go off our meds, we might wind up in a Prius.

Okay,
I kinda forgot, but my nephew is doing a report on the history of Jeep and wants to get some wheeling pics or video. We are going to head off tomorrow in honor of 4x4 Go Topless Day for a quick run to Hover. Please post up if anyone is interested in going, topless or not, in a Jeep or lesser vehicle. If anyone is interested in this pre- Blues and Brews run, we will arrange a time to meet at Roberto's Tacos on Clearwater in Kennewick for a short morning run.

The upper area where the shooters leave cans, broken bottles, and shell casings  is the KGH area that I think is closed. We went on Hover Rd to the Hover park entrance on the north side last weekend. No closed signs or postings what so ever. That could soon change though.

I went the day after you guys did and a girl was out there and told my brother that the whole hill was closed.

But it is NOT posted, and I don't know the KGH perimeter.

Anybody interested... 8:00 AM at Roberto's, we'll be heading to Hover shortly after, probably via the back way.
