ill be installing the replacement carb tomorrow, but i was wondering how the throttle cable thing was rigged up to work? because the jeep has a rod that pulls down on the throttle, but the rochester pulls back instead of down. can someone post a picture of what they did so i can do the same?

Cool. Was about to suggest you look at the Turky, except it's a cable, not a rod linkage...

yeah it didnt take long to figure something out. i just welded a plat piece of metal with the little nub thing the linkage connects to onto the throttle. works well, idles perfect, very responsive. im happy

You still want to sell the other carb? Do you know what exact CFM it is? If not, can you give me the exact model number?

i dont have it anymore, i was low on cash and had to trade it for the replacement.
