My front wheel wells are gettin torn apart and let in alot of crud in my engine area. last couple days i went wheelin in the snow and went in some deep snow like 7in. And i stopped and checked my engine and the entire engine was covered in snow and packed . it all melted sooner or later and it was fine but i would like to know if there is anything i can do to fix wheel wells? or if it actually is bad for my trucks engine.

It isn't great for the alternator and the belt.

We don't have any inner fender liners on the race Ranger and it hasn't really been a problem

yea the alternator would be the only thing. but luckily i have automatic replacement if mine break lol!

But automatic replacement wont get you home out on the trail, dunes or the street. Just saying..... Yes, We at RGR have only had 1 or 2 that we've had to replace during a race and I can tell you that you wont see near what we see when racing. Silt is the DEBIL!

Hahah yea that is true. replacing the alternator is not the most fun job to do. Do you know of anyway to patch up my wheel wells?

If they're broken, try to find some at Pasco Auto Wrecking.

I am not familiar with them. What material are they made of? If they are ABS plastic, you can epoxy them. But a couple tubes of epoxy will probably cost you more than parts from the wrecking yard.

its not the hard plastic stuff its like the rubbery plastic stuff like mud flap stuff and it just doesnt cover the engine well
