I have read enough of these types of articles to determine that most of them are inaccurate and inflammatory. There is always more to the story, but if the additional information does not promote animosity or further someone's agenda, the information is excluded or tainted.

It seems to me that the TV news reports are much more likely to puke out inaccurate and sensationalist stories than the newspaper reports -- with the exception of the Editorial Sections.

Always keep in mind that if you're being interviewed as an official, the one stupid remark you say will likely be quoted in the first paragraph of the article.
