Not just their notoriety, Al Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden and German Nazi fountainhead Adolf Hitler also share the date on which their death was announced -- May 1.

Go figure that the socialist/communist/union day off is the day working stiffs in the military who haven't been paid in awhile due to bickering in the .gov went to work without complaint and took out one of the most sought after people in history. God bless the US military for what they do.

Where does this idea the military is not being paid come from? My dad is still getting his Navy retirement checks or I would have had to take his BMW months ago.

Last I heard they were still bickering back and forth and active duty was waiting on their pay since a couple months back.

Used to listen to talk radio till all the holes from missing snippets started to become obvious. No matter what part of the spectrum a host claimed to be from there was a common theme. Tell them what they wanna hear and ignore the parts of the story that doesn't fit the agenda.

I'm more of a libertarian than anything and noone on the national scene has sparked my interest enough to listen to them.

I can agree that politicizing the event is silly but when the potus sets the standard at that whadda ya do? Not that it matters there are thousands more where obl came from that are exactly like him so not a heck of a lot will change anyway. This is just a big political stunt that will make lemings think the anointed one needs 4 more years to save us all.
