I know the trails will probably be closed but it looks as if most of the campgrounds will be open.

The guys I work with are still planning on going up, relaxing, and running some forest service roads in hopes of finding snow. We camped lower down the road last year to avoid the crowds. One of the guys went up there scouting this weekend to check on the conditions. You going up?

Everyone has seemed to have written off this weekend. I'm gonna call around the Ranger Districts and see what's going on. I may just go camping and bring the Jeep along anyway, just in case. :D

It really ain't lookin' to good. Everything I've read says stay off the trails. Cle Elum is a mess. Mikki's info is on here.

I've done some looking around and it seems you're right, Grumpy. Guess this may be a camping trip then.

Still tons of snow up there guys. Went over the pass today and the snow pack on Snowqualmie is still huge. In front of the lodge, gas station and what not, you basically can't see the buildings from the road as you drive by....and I'm not talking 90. The slope still looks like it could be skiied on. So, if you are going camping there's a good possibility that you will encounter snow if you can get through the roads. But, driving them is just going to make it worse for us later.
