Dual Registartion

As of today 6-11-11 Washington will allow you to dual register a 4x4 vechical with street plate AND ORV tags. It did cost $30 for a "new" registration and $20 for the tab, but as of now I have plates and ORV tabs on the Jeep.

The lady at first said "no", but looked it up and it is a little vague on exactly what can have dual licenses, seems to be mostly pointed toward dual sport bikes, but 4x4 or Jeep was in there.

The above is correct, Ignor the bottom, I was wrong and my understanding now is you need the DP to be on the road. Once off the road it's not needed anymore. MINE understanding at this time.

At this point and time I believe an ORV tag can be used instead of a Discovery pass. A LEO may see it different and I'll get to make a donation but I'm going to give it a try.
