Hey there steve. Here's what's happening.

About 7 years ago i blew out my hip training for a marrathon. It's been an on again off again problem ever since. 3 years ago I had the hip orthoscopically cleanned out. They said it would only last about 2 years....it didn't last a year. I've had continual pain/issues with it the past 18 months or so. So, after many dr appts, consultations with others and review options I decided to have a total hip replacement.

But, before I did that I decided to take one last trip before closeing out the Rving season. We are currently on the Oregon coast (haven't had much inturd net access) with friends and will be home on the 20th. The surgery is scheduled for the 24th. The full recovery time is 3 months....good as new....well, almost. This will mean staying home this winter....no Yuma outing this year.

I'll be able to attend club events as healing/dr. aka, spouse lets me. i'm actually trying to think of a way i can make the FYBR. Probably won't be able to go on a run but I could hang with the crowd pending a ride up there. Won't be able to drive for a while.

Looking forward to getting back to wheeling.

Dan...You always have a seat in my Jeep. It's easy to get in/out of while you nurse your hind leg.
