Anyone heard of this things before? I stumbled across them last week and bought a set of minis that got here today. Seems pretty stout. Can't wait to mount them up and see how they do.

Sounds like a great shovel mount. . .are they rubber?

Ya they are rubber or something close to rubber. I found them cause I was looking for ways to mount a shovel to my roof rack actually.
I'm paranoid that someone would steal a shovel or axe if it was mounted with them. I don't trust the general public

I wouldn't keep anything on the Jeep when I'm not going to/from the trail or have an actual use for it. The guys that park at the mall with their hi lift jacks and shovels on their shiny trucks drive me crazy. . .

I don't plan on keeping stuff on it all the time either, but I can just imagine stopping to get gas or a bite to eat and coming out and seeing a shovel or something disappear. I run a cable lock through my hi-lift and spare tire when I have them with me.

I have a set holding my shovel on the rack on the back of my Jeep. I love them, and it gives 18 year old boys a chance to grab your shovel quickly when it time to dig out a Toyota.
If you think your shovel will get stolen, it is
too pretty.
Been using them since last Xmas... no issues.

I have a couple and really like them. My shovel is in the green pouch behind the straps, but I've been thinking about getting a couple more quick fists so that I can add a full sized shovel on the outside for snow runs.

Just another geegaw to add to the list of bolt ons. Not that my opinion means a damned thing anyway I don't wheel.

Fire Departments have been using them for some time.
they are stout, we have a few on our engine.
