Kids...

Postby tobyw » Sun Mar 18, 2012 7:02 am

Sundays are my day off, and I typically enjoy sleeping in a bit (that extra hour is FANTASTIC, even at 5:30am) and then making some breakfast for the kids. This morning was pancakes for the girl, and breakfast burritoes for the boy. As I was sliding the burrito goodness out of the pan and into the tortilla, the boy comes to me with the keys to the Jeep, and promptly tells me he is heading to the garage to start the Jeep...

Me: Why are you wanting to start the Jeep? I have your burrito almost ready.

Boy: Well dad, we have to cook the burrito, right?

I have been proud a few times in my life, and this was one of those times.
Yep, I've wheeled one of those, too...
