Got diesel? Two of these little engines showed up at a jobsite today while I was unloading.
They are craning them into a new building I've been delivering blocks to the last month.

Barrel racing claimed a u-joint in the rear drive shaft. Now I could spend 20 bucks replacing it but I think I broke my Slip Yoke too, and I'm sure I need to replace the belly pan....

I agree. Barrel racing drove the nail in the coffin on that joint though.

Okay, we're a little crazy to have a Duramax for a daily driver. But if we go off our meds, we might wind up in a Prius.

They may not be all functioning, but they are original.

Did that today. thought for sure there would be something nestled on the manifold but found nothing. Did find a wad of insulation between the battery and fuze box but that's all I could find. Can't wait to crawl around the motor home engine to see what I can find. Will attack that tomorrow.

Thanks Paul, although the engine is so dusty from being down there and my desert ratting around that there are tracks all over the engine but none around the intake....but will do that first thin in the am.

You have a JK now so the insulation will be pulled out from under the hood anyway when you install the required hood vents from whichever quadratec vendor you choose.

Made a quick trip to MT this weekend for my dad's b-day party. He knew about the party but not that a couple of kids and grandkids were showing up. He was surprised.
When we got there Friday, there was NO snow, this is Saturday Morning with about 7".

A snow blower and quad with a plow made quick work of the snow.
