[quote="mattawajeep"]Well, there goes my newly lengthened and balanced driveshaft......
Well that sucks. Any idea what caused the failure? If you take it to Six States, mention my name. It won't get you a discount But can pick it up for you if needed.

Not sure, but I think it was probably cracked before I had it fixed. I pressed out the old u-joint to replace it before installing on the grand and noticed the crack when cleaning it up.
Coulda broken it with the press, but I don't think so, the joint came out pretty easy. Probably stupid human tricks from the previous owner. He had it buried halfway up the engine in mud - which does a lot to explain the toasted transmission.
I had Lower Valley Machine lengthen and balance it, not sure where I'll take it this time.

If you need a 1310 yoke like that, I proabably have one in an old driveline that you could cut up. Not that they aren't laying around like cordwood in October. . .but still.
Thanks for the offer, though I think I've actually got the right yoke sitting around someplace. My old TJ rear driveline should have the right yoke, I just need to find out where it's buried.

That fender and marker light are toast. I hope the spare fits. Not to worry about the paint left on the trees and in the snow because it made with pulverized walnut shells, saffron, and just a pinch of iso-cyanide as a hardener.

Long story short, a guy wanted a family bar added.
The family bar is being added to a the standard early 70s roll bar with a front added. That would be OK but they decided an "I" configuration was the way to go. 70's wisdom I do not grasp sometimes, so outside spreader bars where added between A & B loops. The rear loop will have bars between it and the rear down bars.

Chris's present half installed. I don't think I'm going to get any credit for this. But, nice break after physical therapy.
Okay, we're a little crazy to have a Duramax for a daily driver. But if we go off our meds, we might wind up in a Prius.
