Silky smooth new rubber
Now to get it back on the driveway to see if the Amazonian center caps fit!

Yuppers. It’s wise to test this type of thing.

The outer edges still aren't completely touching ay 18psi
If it wasn't for the fact of how smooth these things roll, I'd be worrier they were too stiff!

Although no match for a Gladiator Rubicon's towing capacity, the JLUR did surprisingly well towing the old 93 Reinell. Doesn't even squat that much. As far as the old boat, it has been sitting for two years. My doctor wouldn't let me go in the river after last years melanoma surgery on my calf. In the water she went just after sunrise this morning. She fired right up like I drove it yesterday! Let it run on the trailer for about 15 minutes. No overheating, no weird noises, nothing. Gotta a love a 5.0l fuel injected V8. Looks like we have a boat to take the grandson out and watch the air show today.

The bilge pump worked for the first time during the boat races. The reason I needed to use it might be expensive.

And it was. B.O.A.T. Break out another thousand!
At least the V8 didn't need to be pulled to fix it, only the outdrive. All new gimble bearing, driveline u-joints, driveline and exhaust bellows, etc. 33 year old rubber parts finally gave up. She's sea worthy again, at the end of the season.

Might as well get another weekend or two in before winterizing. Can you tell where we're at?

Yes, Elk Ridge next to Jim Sprick. A little chilly at night, but the motorized tent has an electric heater/fireplace.

Spent the weekend up in Naches myself, stayed at Long Meadow in the ol' Stabbin Cabin. No heater, just my prolific body fat to keep me warm on these brisk early fall evenings
