Where can I take the jeep around Goldendale?

I'm trying to find some nice trails/back roads to take the jeep on that are in the area around Goldendale. So far my search hasn't turned up much. Mt. Adams (Gifford Pinchot National Forest) appears to be ATV friendly in places, but not jeep friendly. Being new to this hobby, trying to find places on my own is quite frustrating.

Any suggestions on where I can go or even where/how to search for places?

Where can I get a map that shows forest roads that I can drive on?

I've driven around the WDFW Soda Springs unit a bit. No 4-wheeling but quite a bit of backroads driving. Drive all the way down Soda Springs rd to the Klickitat river and there is a nice little secluded fishing spot.

So i headed out to soda springs this afternoon. Pretty nice drive. I explored a few roads but need to go back sometime and drive the rest of them. Thanks for the info on that place

I went down to Skamania County today and there are some fun trails and logging roads just outside of Stevenson. But I developed a wierd clunking noise part way through the day

Has anyone gone to Skamania to go wheeling?
