Moved a few boxes, cleared a few spider webs. . .

Opened a door. Sat down. Took a deep breath. Rotated the knob for Battery #2, flipped the switch for the left fuel pump. . .paused. . .got out. Looked at the dust lights. . .got back in. . .switched the ignition to ON and pushed the Black Button. No hesitation. . .It was like he was just sitting there waiting. Almost like a good dog when you've been away on a long trip.

It's a good thing that El Chivo needs a torque converter or the neighbors would have been filing complaints about a goofy a$$ looking silver ranger with a bunch of tube and fiberglass tearing up their front yards.

I haven't been inside the cockpit for many months. While I won't go into what my complete response to his willingness to get back in the fight was.. .I will say this:

The Mint 400 is March 21-23 in Las Vegas. Seems reasonable to me. . .

That was my thought exactly. I turned in the first one last night.

People that would like to crew for the race, there are one or two spots still available. Hit me up.

The biggest expense is the time. Kick in a few bucks for and a shared hotel room. . .we eat cheap, stay cheap. . .etc. Between 8 people, it is probably cheaper than a weekend of wheelin'. But the experience is PRICELESS.

Before I left the TC I was wondering about El Chivo. That is one of the things I was going to talk to you about before I left, but things got complicated. Another story!

Here's my plan. I won't be able to wrench since I'll be in Yuma/Mesa this winter. BUT, Vegas just happens to be on my way home..... ....so count me in!!

I love it when a plan comes together.
