Recreation Alert: Some Ahtanum State Forest recreation sites closed during work week

The Washington State Department of Natural Resources has extended a weekday road closure in Ahtanum State Forest through November 30.

The Middle Fork Ahtanum Road (A2000) will be closed during the week due to a timber harvest and chipping operation.

The Eagles Nest Vista, Tree Phones Campground, and Clover Flats Campground are not accessible during the week because of the closure and snow on the North Fork Road (A3000). All other recreation sites will be open and accessible by the North Fork and Sedge Ridge Roads (map).

Access on the Middle Fork Ahtanum Road will be allowed on weekends from 6 p.m. Friday through 8 p.m. on Sunday.
