So since I'm new to off-roading still and tomorrow's outing will be my first all day event, I don't know what to expect for eating on the trail. I'm going for engine hot dogs. Simple and quick.
What things work and don't work for trail food?

Take stuff that you can easily contain, and strap it all down inside the jeep. Last run I was pulling frozen grapes out from under my seats a month later.
Hot dogs work great.
Of course, the real answer for the peakputters is that there's no limit. I've seen some pretty fancy food out on the trail.

The sky is the limit.....
We are doing carne asada tacos with caramelized onions, peppers, homemade salsa, and cheese on the manifold. Premade the near tonight so I just need to toss them on the intake.....
