Need some winch help

Need help figuring out what winch this is and if there is any information out there? This is on one of our rescue rigs, as far as everyone can remember it hasnt worked.

Could that be an old Mile Marker hydrolic or PTO winch?

I'm pretty sure it is electric. A friend of mine, Ramiro Mireles, had one back in the day, but I don't remember what it is. Two speed electric winch if it is the same thing.
Okay, we're a little crazy to have a Duramax for a daily driver. But if we go off our meds, we might wind up in a Prius.

to me it looks like standard 2 speed gear drive (think rollbacks alot) believe its a old superwinch would be my guess, what doesnt work, no free spool? should be standard 4 solenoid stuff if its power in and out

Looks like a Tensen TX2 to me. They are out of business. If the problem is electrical it should be easy to sort out, if its anything else you're screwed, there's no parts out there for them.

and if you search the internet, you pretty much find that everyone who has one of these winches is asking what it is because it doesn't work. :D

the tx2 looks to have a smooth finish on the front with a tx2 in the top right corner of the front cover as well as ontop of the drum gear cover

You're right. That one is actually a Megawinch.

I believe Megawinch bought the leftovers of Tensen, then later went out of business.

Same situation, no parts, most of them are broken.

Al Yenny used to be a dealer for them. If you can find him, he may have parts somewhere. . .
