Train Spotting

Postby iaccocca » Tue May 28, 2013 4:31 pm

The family and I are going to Elbe, WA this summer to ride the Mt. Rainier railroad. We will be meeting up with my sister-in-law and her family. I am looking for input on camping in that area. Any suggestions? I'll have the Jeep and the tent camper, they will have a pick-up with a slide in camper. I do not think they are addicted to shore power, but my girls will at least want a vault toilet. Ideas?
Okay, we're a little crazy to have a Duramax for a daily driver. But if we go off our meds, we might wind up in a Prius.

Lee,

Consider finding an isolated spot among old growth cedars and fresh ferns; a primitive dark place where banana slugs and colorful fungi thrive this time of year. Then teach your kids to squat in the woods like their beloved grandparents did on their camping trips. Your children will have two more things in common with the old folks they adore and stories to tell their friends.
I don't Text (at least not very well), I eat Blackberrys, and I only Twitter after sex...
