NACHES— Fire and fuels managers on the Okanogan-Wenatchee N.F. continue the controlled burn within the Angel Underburn project area this summer. During burning activities, forest visitors may experience smoke and localized road and area closures in the Rattlesnake Creek Drainage.
The Angel Underburn is part of a landscape restoration project aimed to create a more resilient forest ecosystem.
