No love for the Jeep, but some for the No Tires Wheeler!

Unwrapped from winter storage. New impeller and fluids going in.
Grandson is pretty excited!

So went to load my bronco on the trailer to come home and it wouldn't start. A little diagnosis on the mountain found that the pcm was not providing a ground for any of the relays. Tried everything I could think if up there but without a scan tool I got no where. Winched it on the trailer and drug it home.
After unloading the camper and taking a shower I went out to tinker with it. Pulled codes and couldn't get it to comunicate. Unplugged it and then reconnected and retried. Was able to get pcm rom (read only memory) error codes. Cleared everything and retest. Starts and runs now but I think my pcm is on its way out

They both have 400+ cubic inch stokers with well over 500 hp. Thetop were really sweet broncos.

Had the bronco detailed in preparation for our wedding this weekend. Not an easy job after all the mud last weekend but it cleaned up nice.

Killed the Squirrels

Postby ZMBEKLR » Sun May 24, 2015 5:49 am

Finally decided It was time to retire the squirrels

Hooked up with Mad Mechanics in Pasco, to get all the custom mounts done to stuff the LS1 motor in, including getting rid of the AX5 5 speed and converting to a 4L60E auto transmission with stage 2 manual valve body and electronic locking converter on a switch.

Can't wait to get it back.

NO MORE SLOW LANE. WOO HOO!!!!!

I drove mine to work yesterday. It vibrated more than normal and I was not happy. Turns out I was running too low of air pressure in all tires. I hadn't aired up since coming down from the Blue Lk turnoff.

I need to air mine down. Still at the 30 lbs I put in them to pull my camper home from the bachelor party. Beats me like an angery monkey on a small pony when I drive it down the street.
Okay, we're a little crazy to have a Duramax for a daily driver. But if we go off our meds, we might wind up in a Prius.
