Is hover closed?

I was chatting with some guys the other day and one said that he thought hover was closed. I haven't heard anything and my search on the web didn't find anything either. So I figured someone here would know. Thanks.

I have not heard anything, but I haven't been out there since last New Years Day.

I heard the same thing, but I went out there a few weeks ago and didn't notice any signs, and no entrances were closed. There were only a few other people out there and they were on dirt bikes

I think some (maybe all) of the County parks close for the winter. I haven't heard that Hover is closing though. I was out there weekend before last and no sign of anything being different.

Keep in mind that the majority of the wheeling area at Hover is not County land. It is/was owned by KGH and they have been selling it off. Easterday farms bought quite a bit of it south of the big hill and would not surprise me if they close off their land to off roaders.
