Ok-Wen hours

Wenatchee, WA— Services at some Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest offices will be reduced on May 25 to accommodate administrative training for front-desk information specialists. In an effort to better serve the public, front desk visitor information specialists need to periodically receive training.

On May 25 all offices, excluding the Tonasket Ranger District, will remain open. However, not all services or permit issuing capabilities will be available due to the training day. We appreciate everyone’s patience. The Forest encourages those individuals desiring to purchase permits or maps to visit one of our offices offering full services or to plan ahead and purchase these items during normal business hours on May 24 and again on May 26 when full business services will resume.

Okanogan-Wenatchee NF offices open with full services on May 25:

· Chelan Ranger District Office,
· Okanogan Valley Office,
· Wenatchee River Ranger District Office,
· Cle Elum Ranger District office will be open with normal business hours; forest product permits will be available for sale from 8 a.m. to noon and 1:15 to 3:30 p.m.
· Entiat Ranger District office will be open with forest product permits available from 8-11 a.m. and 1-4:30 p.m. only. The office will be closed from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

National Forest offices providing only visitor information:
· Naches Ranger District office will be open but no products will be sold,
· Methow Valley Ranger District office will be open but no products will be sold. Local vendors will be selling woodcutting permits; call the district office at 509-996-4003 for a list of vendors.
· Forest Headquarters office in Wenatchee will be open but no products will be sold.

Tonasket Ranger District office will be closed on May 25. Local vendors will be selling woodcutting permits; call the Tonasket office at 509-486-2186 for a list of vendors.
