New shop in town?

Postby Roman » Sat Jul 16, 2016 9:48 am

Stopped by Black Diamond 4x4 yesterday (I know, the official Grand Opening is today) and got to spend some time talking with Bryan and looking around the shop.

These guys are going FULL THROTTLE! The show room has more parts than some catalogs I've seen! He plans to stock builder parts (tabs/joints), he's got winches and cb's on the shelf, tires in stock!

It's really nice. They have done a great job putting the shop and store together.
I spent this morning there and accidentally bought a set of chromoly shafts for my front axle. :D

Stop by and say hi to Bryan and the gang.

It is pretty cool! It will be nice to have a place in town that you can actually get stuff at the last minute.
I bought some door straps.

I got to finally check out the MCE Flexible Fenders TJ-6 in person. It is a stretched TJ that uses an LJ top, but has a longer wheelbase. I followed the build years ago, see it online all the time, and have just missed it on Cheeze trails many times.
Cool Jeep, and owner Shawn is pretty cool too. He gave me some steekers and a MCE koozie. 8)

:scared: Crap, can't believe I missed that detail TJD...

I saw the TJ-6 steekers, but never noticed the longer wheel base!
