Well i sold my Jeep this last saterday. I had to, i am going to sacramento for college in august and I need the money. but what I am going to do is that the car I am driving down there will need to be put into a body shop. so I am going to buy a Jeep cherokee while I am down there for a year and then I am going to tow back my car on a trailer behind my "future" jeep. So I hope all goes well with my ingenious Idea lol.

Oh and my brother just recently bought a '93 Cherokee 2dr sport. He doesnt like being pn the sites i dont think lol. but anyhow. yea thats my idea



plus there was too many things with my past jeep so I am kinda glad I got rid of it
Hoping to get a 90's with a 4.0 in cali and hopefully roll around with some of the cali crew

So yea sorry I aint a jeep owner anymore but I will be in less than a year, u can garentee that!

i think towing a car with a cheroke is a dumb idea,and wasting money on a cheap car to go into a body shop while your in collage is even dumber.
doooode just go to school and learn you have lots of time to do the fun stuff but itll never happen with out some schooling to get a good job

My thoughts: I hope you can actually read/write/speak better than you come across on this forum. I'm not sure which college you are planning to attend down there, but most of them require some elevated level of communication skills... At least they used to

having a beater while you're in school is perfect!! Leave the dents in it if that is all that's wrong with it. Especially in California! Toyman is giving you good advise--you are just asking for problems if you buy an older Cherokee and tow a car & trailer with it all the way from Cali. I sold my Nova & took my parents little P.O.S. 1980 Dodge ricemobile when I went to Wazzu. When you are in college any car is cool!! Good luck, study hard, and get the Jeep you really want when you get back.

The gentlemen speak true words. The education should be the priority right now. If you can afford to have a Jeep, fine. If not, concentrate on school. There'll be a rig out there when you're ready and can afford it. Toby, Cim, Dave and myself are all old enough to be able to have a toy or two, but it can still stretch things a mite.

its actually my moms car and I wrecked it a few weeks back and so it has body damage done so when I go down there imma put it through a body shop to have them beat out the stuff me and my bro couldnt.


I am going to a Universal Institue. not technically "college" but hey I get in the lab experience 95% of the time!

gosh I would have to go through a WHOLE year without having a jeep or going offroading

wheelin adds up quick scotts in college and he doesnt go wheelin anymore that i know of and im gettin ready to go to school so im pushing to get my truck done before then but while im at school ill be drivin a car for the gas milage

i say keep the car dinged no body shop because down at uti im 90% sure they have open shop days where you can bring in your own vehicle and do some lab work on it if your goin down for auto so you get free work done and learn it too

My cousin went to collage for 5 years. Seems to me that he's not much smarter now than he was before. Any how, the uppidee bastard got himself a degree in Janitorial and now is working at the Highschool...Big collage man.

He's a nice kid, and honestly what do you guys expect form a high school kid? Perfect grammar, punctuation and spelling? When I see any of you guys (especially you Sim) using those then and only then can you give his this load of crap. He's off to school to get some training in a field that he wants to work in. Whats wrong with that? I wish I went to school for something other than alcohol, drugs and partying training...
