BRC Alert

Postby Grumpy » Thu Jan 26, 2017 11:44 am

Dear BRC Action Alert Subscriber,

The Outdoor Access Working Group (OAWG) and the U.S. Forest Service (USFS) will be co-hosting two public engagement sessions on implementation of new agency guidance on operation of the outfitter-guide permitting system. This new guidance is meant to simplify the process for obtaining Forest Service permits and provide new opportunities for facilitated access to Forest Service lands. During the session, representatives of OAWG and USFS will provide attendees with a briefing on the new guidance and engage attendees in a dialog on how the various aspects might relate to their program or activity.

The first session will be held on February 15, 2017, from 2pm to 6pm at the Campus Library, Room 4300 at Evergreen State College, 2700 Evergreen Parkway NW, Olympia WA. If you are interested in attending this event please OLYMPIA RSVP HERE.

The second session will be held on February 16, 2017, from 1pm to 5pm at the Seattle REI, located at 222 Yale Ave. N, Seattle, WA. If you are interested in attending this event please SEATTLE RSVP HERE.

Please also feel free to forward and distribute this email and RSVP.

Thanks in advance and, as always, if you have any questions or concerns, please contact BRC.
