What are you doing with your tax refund?
I'll start...
Just dropped the truck off for some transmission mods. Precision Triple Disc torque converter and an HD Trans Go Tugger kit with all the pump mods. Figured I'd need to do this sooner or later with all the weight I'm pulling with the truck.

Ideally you want to break even or pay a little bit, but I still like to overpay and get a nice chunk of change back at once and do something fun with it.

And how exactly do you do that? We both claim 0, and sink alot into retirement.
I just wrote the biggest check of my life without driving away in a new to me vehicle.
Something changed, and it's not our income, or our accountant. We've made more in previous years.
Jeep will get nothing.

We never over-pay, and always owe taxes.
Regardless, I still splurged. I now own some killer Dana 44 parts and an 18' enclosed trailer/car hauler. My driveway is really cramped now...

in the past TJD we've made quarterly payments to keep from paying at the end of the year. we also claim "married filing at the single rate" + stace would pay an additional $100 and i would pay and additional $50 withholdings. we also throw a lot into pretax dollar retirements. just FYI. but now that stace has retired we should be good.

Re: What are you doing with your tax refund?
Yep. We will be bumping our 401ks this week. I'll look into quarterly payments. But it might be more fun to be pissed about it once a year instead of four.
But wait, there is good news! I did buy a few things before I did taxes.
New chromo front axle shafts, seat risers, Xenon flat rear flares, and led tail lights for the Jeep.
New MB72 polished aluminum wheels for the car trailer that match the Jeep's wheels.

Sounds like the system is broke and needs to be overhauled when middle income taxpayers have to jump through that many hoops to come close to breaking even on April 1st.
Re: What are you doing with your tax refund?
I put a lot into retirement and I run two businesses so that helps.
