I've downsized...tires.

:( Life has been throwing us curveballs. Over the last couple of years, 99% of JLUR life has been on the street, or dragged all over the PNW behind the motorhome.
I had to make the practical decision to remove the 37" MTs and replace them with a 35" hybrid tire. I settled on the Toyo RT Trail. I really like the new RT Pro, but it is so close to an MT, I wouldn't of really gained what I was looking for.
These tires ride so smooth and quiet, it's like a new rig. The Jeep is happy. 8th gear is back everywhere, not just going downhill. Fuel mileage is up. Tire carrier is happier. Wife is happy with the smooth ride and less effort to get in the thing.
My eyes? Not so happy. :D JLs on 37" MTs just look bada$$. The JLUR is probably still plenty capable in its current state. Who knows, someday we may get an old 2 door to beat up on the trails again. We are not giving up the fight to get out there and live life as best we can.
37's are up for grabs on the for sale section. Cheap!
