Got a new shaft on the way...free. They're also sending a new set of bearings and seals and the lock ring. It will be here monday, they didn't even want the old one.
Gonna be close for the liberty run...

Good to hear they are taking care of you.
If I busted a CroMo shaft out there in that spot I'd be suspecting a bunk shaft totally. I've had factory defects bust in ridiculous places too so I know the WTF I paid good money for CroMo!! feeling all too well.

10 years.."No questions asked" That's what the rep Ryan told me.
Other information: Alloy USA actually bought Precision Gear or the other way around. They're one in the same company.
