FYBR 2019

Postby Don » Tue Nov 26, 2019 8:01 pm

Run was called by Lee and is going to be an open run. Day trip run will be Sat Nov 30, staging at the Long Meadow campground, leaving camp at 9am sharp. The plan is to run to Raven's Roost.

I'll planning on running the road to Raven's Roost and not the powerline road since I'll have the little guy on his first run. We may choose to break in to separate groups considering conditions and people's hunger for challenges.

My wife and I will be camping up there as long as conditions allow us to get in. We'll get to camp Friday before dark. We're planning on mixing in some sledding and Christmas tree hunting while we're there. Any other campers committed?

For day runners I've got:

Jim
Lee
Tim
Cory

Has anyone reached out to the Lively's?

If you're planning on coming, please post up if you are camping or day running so we can watch for you.

Looks like a little snow and a lot of cold, perfect to freeze some buns! I'm kinda excited to have windows and a heater this time ;)

Weather says 1-4" of fresh snow before Thanksgiving, then clear and sunny through the weekend. Highs of 29, lows of 16. Should be a great view from the top of Raven's Roost.

I'm bringing a small pile of firewood. If you're camping, bringing some more wouldn't hurt.
