Twin Sisters/Colville Forest Rally

Postby Grumpy » Wed Oct 22, 2008 8:57 am

Colville National Forest is trying to pull a fast one on all off roaders by stopping their Travel Plan and trying to implement all areas as wilderness before they restart the Travel Plan. This will include all five trails designated 4x4 including the most well known Twin Sisters.

If this goes through then these areas will not even be up for consideration during the Travel Plan.

We are having a show of force on the last meeting date to protest any closures of off road trails in the area. Many off roaders have been working on this but we are being ignored. There is already to much wilderness area.

Here is the information on what they are trying to do.
