Because most of the people on this forum wheel at rimrock. A fullsize just flat out won't fit.

I wheel a 73 bronco but I'm not afraid of body damage. I definatly wouldn't recomend anything bigger then an eb.

the body goin on my truck is a 54 willys it might be a "jeep" but not typical on the trails

i still like the idea of buildin odball mini trucks like a datsun or somethin you dont see on the trails much

While I've got a wrangler, I also run a 3rd gen Toyota p/u. Not concerned really about body damage with it, but I am with the wrangler. I know a couple guys around that run eb's. But like has been mentioned, for the trails in the mountains, the full size stuff just doesn't fit in a lot of places without causing damage either to the trail or the vehicle.

In addition to my Jeep and my big Ford, I'm building a sorta Samurai thingy right now. . .that is another good choice for the type of trails we see.

So for rigs with bodies:
Jeeps
EB (Early Broncos)
Toyotas (minitrucks and 4runners)
Samurai
IH Scout

If you want to be different, build something custom. The tight twisty trails around our area are NOT good for full size trucks.
