Some pics I got today...thought I'd share

Postby Lud » Thu Feb 12, 2009 12:52 pm

My sister in law sent me some pics of my brother in Iraq. I think this is his third time over there. He's moved up to a Sargeant now and it sounded like his spirits were good for the first time on the phone last week. Just want him to get home safe.

He gets out in June and goes back to Germany and will be done a few months after that if he isn't called back. Then he'll be back in the states going to college to be a history teacher. I'm hoping to have a big welcome home party for him here sometime this year.

Give him my best too. Having been a Nam vet cudo's were hard to come by. Even with todays support I still don't think they get half the credit they derserve. I'll also pray for his safe return.

Thanks.

The field does seem kinda green, doesn't it? He's in the 101st airborne I believe. He said this trip has been "boring" compared to the last one just 2 years ago.

I'll keep praying that his trip stays "boring." Big thank you to him for his service from my family.
Okay, we're a little crazy to have a Duramax for a daily driver. But if we go off our meds, we might wind up in a Prius.
