So today in my Environmental Science class we had the Santa Barbara County Air Pollution Officer give a presentation about controlling air pollution and such.
On a pie graph, he had the percentages of emissions which make up air pollution in the county. I noticed that on the graph, off-road vehicles account for 21% of air pollution. I had head similar statistics from the CBD and other eco-fascist groups.
So he explained what it really was. In regards to air pollution an off-road vehicle is any vehicle which does not operate on the streets. This group is mainly comprised of planes, trains, and large construction equipment.
While OHVs comprise a minuscule portion of this group, the eco-fascists like to present it as OHVs produce 21% of the air pollution. Just something to consider.
