I didn't build it. The rig came from Goldendale but the guy said he had purchased it from a guy in Yakima. I thought it was a 3b at first glance but once we started looking at it things didn't add up. Believe it was a 70's build, maybe I'll post a picture of the OLD school highsteer.
Hood is a Willy's embosed hood but the Willy's isn't in the right place.
Grill is not quite right.

Yeah, I looked up some pix of a 3B, and the grill slots are too low in yours. The fender doesn't look right, either. Any numbers on it anywhere? Also learned 3B's were made a lot longer than I thought! '53 to '68. Is it worth some time overall?

It's actually my bother's Jeep and I'm just finishing up a engine conversion he started (350 buick to 225), seats, rollcage, steering, and put the hardtop on it.

Lemme guess it has a OG "arctic" top? Those are straight up fugly! It'll match well with the rest of the rig.

Yup, it's the full blown AL hardtop with no back door. I think it's an arctic but there isn't any insulation, not sure if it was removed or what????

I'm surprised none of the older crew has come up with the answer, I'll see about getting some pictures tomorrow on what they did.

I spy small drums.. If I'm not mistaken the bronco 11" drums will fit that front end.. I have the complete brake setup including spindles at my parents if he'd want them...

No, that hood and grill are stock, I've seen others just like it but the name escapes me right now.

That is exactly what they did, except to clear a 350, but it's even better, it's a 2A with the D41 rear. They also used a manual sagnaw steering box, why????

The Sag steering box was the hot ticket for old Jeeps at one time. We did the conversion on my Dad's 3B, and it worked out great. Wish to hell we'd have kept that old critter! Somebody at some point had put a Studibaker F-Head 6 in it, and done a pretty fair job of it!
