Juniper Dunes Meeting

On Tuesday, August 2nd, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) will be holding a workshop on it's upcoming Resource Management Plan (RMP). This will affect all users on the Juniper area and how they can recreate in the dunes. As an avid OHV user, I urge all of our groups locally to attend and be counted! Juniper is the only close to home riding area we have, and we need to be at the table when negotiations for Juniper's future are taking place.

OHV recreation is the fastest growing use of public lands, and, as such, deserves to be recognized by BLM. Sadly, more and more land is being closed to OHV use, which is creating more conflict over use. I urge all who are part of our sport to attend this meeting and have input on how Juniper will be managed in the years ahead.

The meeting is at the TRAC in Pasco from 6-9 PM. I hope to see many of you there!
