JK bumpers/parts

Postby Toolegit86 » Wed Jan 01, 2014 7:07 pm

why are JK bumpers just big and bulky... what happend to simplicity and function.. i am going to order a bunch of stuff off of poison spyder and been looking at other bumpers for the JK and wow there are some big bumpers out there lol.

any one on here suggest some sliders.. i am going poison spyder bfh bumpers f/r and also removing my rear tire and getting a poison spyder tramp stamp. been wanting to do something with it for a while now and just giving in.

Both of my JKU's just had factory Rubicon sliders. They were actually surprisingly well built and fully functional. I don't think I'd do anything else if I were in the market again.

As for bumpers, I couldn't agree more... I don't think there is a single aftermarket JK bumper that I like, period. I built a very minimalistic bumper/winch mount on version 1.0, and actually kept the stock bumper (albeit just the shell because it was hiding a winch) on version 2.0.
Yep, I've wheeled one of those, too...

thats why i have chosen the poison spyder bfh series.. very simple and no stinger. ill set it up for a winch.

as for sliders ill look into the rubi version as for now mine has the steps and there comming off.

Muther of Gawd... A JK without a stinger? You're going to fall into the other side of the planet or something.
