Juniper this Sunday 09/29/2019

Postby Yrjan » Wed Sep 25, 2019 8:16 am

Dave Walters has asked for help running around Juniper this Sunday afternoon. Iulia and I have volunteered to help him out. Anyone else interested in tagging along? I do not know all the details (time, staging point etc...). Hopefully Dave can enlighten us here.

Like I said on FB, may depend on weather and how I feel to some extent. I think I've hit the low spot on the first chemo session, so fingers crossed. Tentatively get someone to pick me (us?) up noonish, and all meet at Smith Canyon by one. All I have in mind is drive the wilderness fence, take some pix, and kick some fix ideas around. Maybe a couple hours.

So, one small detil Momma Grizzlie over here whupped on me, I need to take it easy on the rough ride thing as much as possible. The brain thing is to be treated as softly as it can be I guess. Doc says no sudden jarring or shaking till the hollowed out part heals :? Apparently I wasn't listening that close. So, who has the softest riding rig to keep her happy?

The JL is the plushest riding 4x4 I've ever been in. I'll have 3 seats available.

Taking my F150. It’s pretty smooth as well. Have 3 seats available as Iulia likely won’t be tagging along.

Looks like I'm solo. Momma wants a break and me to have a "me" day.

Talked to Steve at BLM today. He's on board with another fence project with us. They've got some repairs scheduled as well, so maybe we can pitch in with that to get started.

I'm watching the weather for Sunday a bit. As the current health issues are going to need to be taken into account. My immune system has already taken a major hit, so gotta watch myself. Besides, if it's fugly rainy blowing stuff, the boss may not let me out anyway. She's like that.

If the tire is still holding air in the AM I'll be rolling at noonish.
Okay, we're a little crazy to have a Jeep for a daily driver. But if we go off our meds, we might wind up in a Prius.
