Region 4 Meeting

Postby Grumpy » Tue Oct 14, 2008 9:54 am

Just wanted to remind everyone that the next Region 4 meeting will be Tuesday, October 14 at 7:30 PM in Pasco WA at Doug Conner's shop, 3300 Road 96. Hope to see many of you there. Winter Convention information has been posted on the PNW4WDA Web site as well as our site. Thanks to the Peak Putters for stepping up and putting together a video presentation for showing in the hospitality room at W.C. If you have pictures you want to share get a hold of Curtis Richards. The committee is always looking for help and we want this to be a fantastic convention. Thanks in advance for helping. Sande Nettnin, Region 4 Secretary/Treasurer

Anyone else inclined to sit in on this and get aquainted with how the PNW and Region work? I think we're at a point when more participation is critical. We are seeing more shots being fired in the "war" over access to public lands, and it just seems that sometimes there just isn't enough help out there! Seems to be the same old crew at every meeting, a notable exception being Clay Graham. Some of our younger members need to start learning more about what we're up against, and start countering some of the negativity I see from some quarters! Speak up, kids, we need to hear from you!!

I would go if I could afford the gas and had time to get there. The nice things about these meeting are that you get to hear some people are trying to make a difference.
